US CAPITAL HOLDINGS GROUP SPEARHEADS HOLIDAY FOOD DRIVE TO BENEFIT COOPERATIVE FEEDING PROGRAM

PLANTATION, FL. (December 22, 2008)  US Capital Holdings Group, a leading private equity investor and developer of  the $800 million mixed-use community 321 North, led a food drive in Plantation during the month of December to benefit the Cooperative Feeding Program. Recruiting additional companies including Keller Williams, AmTrust Bank and Bamboo Noah's in Plantation, US Capital Holdings Group raised almost $200 and collected over 100 lbs of food for this charitable organization which is providing counseling and support to families in Broward County who have fallen into economic hardship. The Cooperative Feeding Program focuses on the quality of life for children, the ill and elderly and works with the homeless and families living at the edge of homelessness. The Program also provides emergency food boxes, baby formula, diapers; clothing and shoes, school uniforms; eyeglasses, mail, email and phone center; job training; emergency financial assistance; job classifieds; travel vouchers; disaster assistance; hygiene supplies; holiday food baskets and toys.

The holiday food drive will be an annual event for US Capital, said Wei Chen, CEO and president of US Capital Holdings Group. Our company appreciates the value of organizations like the Cooperative Feeding Program, which strive to make a difference in the community.

Recently approved by the City Council, 321 North will encompass 550,000 gross square feet of retail, 613,000 square feet of office, and up to 590 residential units. The project will be seeking LEED certification and is in line with the City of Plantations green initiatives; it is one of 60 projects nationwide participating in a special focus group as part of LEED for Neighborhood Development pilot program to evaluate developments in their entirety and establish a uniform rating system for like communities.
