Director of Leasing & Marketing

Overview:

US Capital Holdings is currently seeking seasoned leasing and marketing applicants to join its Development team.
The Director of Leasing & Marketing will support the commercial, retail and residential Operations team for a mixed use development, in providing expert business insight to Senior Management. The successful candidate will come from a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in retail, commercial and/or residential leasing and marketing, either working on the Owner's side within a retailer, or from a Real Estate developer. A background on regional or super-regional mall leasing operations is highly preferred.
Additionally, the Candidate will report to and work with the Director of Development to manage relationships relevant to the successful marketing and leasing of the project. He/she will be responsible for the management of internal and external stakeholders and will be expected to deliver exceptional customer service at all times.  The successful candidate will possess a focused results-driven mindset, sound negotiation and relationship building skills, sharp written and presentation skills and hold relevant property qualifications.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in a business capacity on the development, refinement and regular update of the Project's Merchandising Plan.
  • Coordinate retail leasing LOI's and work with Director of Development to negotiate final Tenant agreements.
  • Responsible for managing monthly reporting of all leasing and sales activities within the project.
  • Set up and maintain one or several models of retail proformae.
  • Set up and maintain commercial leasing proformae.
  • Work Closely with Senior Management to implement and maintain an ongoing Marketing plan. Coordinate marketing efforts with outside consultants, agencies and vendors.
  • Conduct regular leasing & Marketing analyses as needed, to stay in front of current industry trends.
  • Coordinate daily leasing efforts with outside retail and commercial brokers and provide regular reports to Director of development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred
  • Minimum 5-10 years experience in marketing and PR. Experience must be in marketing of commercial and/or residential real estate
  • Preferred experience would be 5-10 years of marketing for a developer of Retail, Office or high end/high rise multifamily developments
  • Regional or Super-Regional Mall experience highly preferred
  • Strong project management skills: ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks and projects with multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment; demonstrated ability to lead multi-functional project teams
  • Strong critical thinking, writing, presentation and communications skills. The candidate must think strategically, yet be extremely detail oriented
